Heather Smith Thorne

Heather Smith Thorne is a seasoned professional in the investment and consumer sectors, currently serving as a Partner at Humble Growth since July 2023 and as a Founding Member of WE ARE THE BOARD since May 2023. Previously, Thorne held roles including Senior Advisor and Partner at CAVU Consumer Partners from March 2022 to July 2023, Partner and Head of Consumer at TPG from May 2019 to August 2021, and Managing Director and Partner at Swander Pace Capital from April 2010 to April 2019. Earlier experience also includes serving as Vice President at Thoma Bravo from August 2006 to March 2010 and as an Associate at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey from 2000 to 2004. Thorne holds a BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
