Jamie Mount has over two decades of experience in communications, currently serving as the Chief Communications Officer for Humble ISD since 1999, after previously holding the role of Director of Public Communications. Responsibilities include preparing materials for elections, managing crisis communications, and overseeing newsletters and special events. Prior to this, Jamie worked as the Public Information Services Coordinator at South Texas ISD, where marketing efforts for magnet schools and media relations were key duties. Jamie's career began as a staff writer for The Monitor, focusing on law enforcement and education in a cross-cultural community. Jamie holds a B.A. in Journalism and History from Georgetown University and Texas Christian University.
