Walter Hunt, Ed.D., serves as the Human Resources Director for Humble ISD since August 2019, following experience as a Human Resources Coordinator at Katy ISD from July 2016 to July 2019. Prior roles include Principal at Bryan ISD, where employment lasted from June 2015 to June 2016, and participation in the Rice University Education Entrepreneurship Program. As an adjunct professor at the University of St. Thomas-Houston in 2015, Walter Hunt taught educational leadership courses to graduate students. Previous administrative roles encompass Principal and Assistant/Associate Principal positions at Spring ISD, along with a Principal Intern role at Humble ISD, and serving as an Assistant Principal at Klein ISD. Walter Hunt began in education as a teacher at Aldine ISD, progressing through various leadership positions. Walter Hunt holds a Doctor of Education in Professional Leadership from the University of Houston, a Master's in Educational Administration from Prairie View A&M University, and a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Texas A&M University.
