Nicolas Straub

Nicolas Straub is currently a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin since March 2023, pursuing a Dr. iur. in Rechtswissenschaft. Previously, Nicolas held the position of Student Research Assistant at Bucerius Law School from December 2018 to December 2022 and contributed as a student assistant at the Studium Generale and Zentrum für Persönlichkeitsentwicklung. Notable achievements include participating in prestigious moot courts, ranking in the Round of 16 at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot and receiving an Honourable Mention for Best Individual Oralist. Nicolas has also completed several legal internships, including at Heskia - Hacmun Law Firm in family and inheritance law, Rechtsanwalt Alexander Kirmeß in criminal law, and Latham & Watkins in corporate/M&A. Educational qualifications include a First State Examination from Bucerius Law School and an Abitur from Walddörfer Gymnasium.
