Stefan Lessmann

Stefan Lessmann is a Professor of Information Systems at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin since October 2014, specializing in research and consulting services in Business Analytics, Data Science, and Forecasting, while also coordinating the MSc. program in Information Systems and supervising PhD candidates. In addition, Stefan serves as a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Southampton, collaborating on speculative financial markets research, and as a Guest Lecturer teaching Web Application development and E-Business strategy. Prior experience includes a Lecturer position at the University of Hamburg and a Freelance Collaborator role at DMC Dialogmarketing Consulting GmbH. Stefan has also contributed to the International Conference on Data Mining as Conference Co-Chair, overseeing academic programming and the review process. Educational credentials include a Higher Doctorate (Habilitation) and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the University of Hamburg, complemented by a Diploma in Business Administration.
