Danielle Krettek Cobb

Danielle Krettek Cobb has a diverse background in various roles and organizations. danielle is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of GRANDMOTHER, a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to this, they were a Buddhist Chaplaincy Candidate at Upaya Zen Center starting in March 2023.

From 2012 to 2015, Krettek Cobb held multiple roles at Google, including Founder of the Google Empathy Lab and Director of Research and Special Projects at Google [x]. In 2021, they served as the Chief Creative Advisor at Hume AI.

Krettek Cobb also worked with the Ram Dass - Love Serve Remember Foundation as the Chief Creative Advisor and Board Member starting in 2019. danielle collaborated with organizations such as NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, University of California, Berkeley, and the National Science Foundation as a collaborator, advisor, and strategic advisor respectively.

Additionally, Krettek Cobb has been involved with SETI team at NASA and served as a board judge and social impact mentor at D&AD.

Danielle Krettek Cobb's education history begins with their high school education at John Burroughs High School, which they completed from 1990 to 1996. danielle then pursued their bachelor's degree at Colorado College, where they studied philosophy, literature, and physics from 1996 to 2000. During their time at Colorado College, Danielle deepened their interest in philosophy and physics by spending a semester at University College Dublin in 1998, though they did not obtain a degree from there.

In addition to their formal education, Danielle Krettek Cobb has acquired certification as a Dare to Lead Facilitator from Dare to Lead™ Trained institution in November 2019.
