Judy Hume

Owner and CEO Judy Hume has been in the cleanroom industry for over 25 years. She cut her teeth in Silicon Valley in the mid 80's selling filtration systems for FabTechnology. She worked her way up to Vice President of Sales and Marketing for AirCom Mechanical and then served as the regional sales manager for Service, a manufacturer of modular cleanroom systems. With her well-rounded experience in manufacturing, sales, and marketing in the cleanroom industry, Judy founded her own manufacturer’s representative company, Hume, in 1994. Initially called Rule Products, and then Microbinc, Hume Group has been providing informed, friendly and excellent service to clients from Georgetown, TX for over 18 years. Judy instills her values of sustainability and community service into Hume operations, helping clients achieve LEED certification and sitting on the steering committee for SEMI Austin, the global industry association serving the manufacturing supply chain for the micro-and nano-electronics industries. Through SEMI, she chairs the High Tech U program, reaching out to high school students with an aptitude for math and science about career and educational opportunities in high tech.
