Adrian Karvinen

Vice President of Music Business & Partnerships at Hume

Adrian Karvinen has a long and varied work experience. In 2006, they began their career as an A&R Manager at Universal Music Group, where they developed and signed major label artists for domestic and international markets, negotiated major label recording agreements and engaged with the inner workings of a major corporation. During this time, they received their first gold album with Australia's most influential and successful hip hop group Hilltop Hoods. Adrian then moved to Sony Music Entertainment in 2010, where they were employed to discover and sign charting dance records from around the world for Scandinavia. During this time, they had four #1 singles with a total of over one million units sold. In 2012, they founded Big Wednesday Artist Management, where they managed a staff of three and had four clients. In 2015, they became a Senior Artist Manager at Three Six Zero, where they were responsible for senior artist management for Say Lou Lou (Columbia Records), Skott (RCA Records) and Jarami (Frank Ocean Producers). Adrian also served as a consultant on day-to-day operations between Los Angeles and London for Three Six Zero clients. In 2017, they became a Business, Creative & Artist Consultant at Fire Club Inc, where they were responsible for curation between clients and brands. In 2020, they became the Director of North America and Head Of Crypto-Intergration and acquisitions at Snafu Records. Most recently, in 2023, they became the Vice President of Music Business & Partnerships at Hume.

Adrian Karvinen attended the University of Sydney, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics. Adrian then attended ALEXANDRA HILLS COLLEGE from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in BACHELOR OF CREATIVE ARTS.
