Cynthia Smith

Cynthia Smith is an international affairs professional with 25 years of legal, public policy, and global development program leadership. Cynthia’s regional experience includes the Americas and Southeast Asia, where she has directed the implementation of various judicial reform, civil society strengthening and anti-human trafficking programs funded by USAID and USDOS, among other donors. Her specific issue expertise in the areas of regulatory and operational compliance, governance, access to justice, civil society strengthening, and network and coalition building. Cynthia has also practiced civil rights and employment law and is a member of the Maryland Bar. Cynthia is based in the DC Metro Area.
