Celal Balim

Celal BALIM has a strong background in information technology management. Celal is currently serving as the Head of Information Technology at hummel since May 2021. Prior to this role, they held the position of Group IT Manager at McCANN Istanbul from September 2012 to May 2021. Before McCANN Istanbul, Celal worked as an IT Manager at FRANKE, where they successfully designed and managed human resources and information system facilities. Celal played a key role in maintaining flexibility and productivity as the company experienced significant growth. Celal also has experience as a Lecturer at Istanbul Bilgi University from 1998 to 2002.

Celal BALIM obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Yildiz Technical University, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Celal then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the same university, completing their studies from 1997 to 2001. In addition to their formal education, Celal BALIM has also obtained several certifications, including the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from EXIN your ICT competence partner in November 2017, the Six Sigma - Yellow Belt certification from Franke in June 2010, and the Project Management PMO certification, also from Franke, in November 2009.
