Henrik Svenning has held various roles within the company Hummel since 2007. Henrik started as an Export Area Manager, where they received general training in export and licensing, and was responsible for sales, marketing, and price and contract negotiation. From July 2015 to December 2017, they served as the Global Head of Export & License. In January 2018, they became the Chief Business Development Officer and later took on the role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) in March 2019. Henrik also holds multiple board positions within Hummel, including Hummel North America, Hummel India, and Hummel Spain. Prior to joining Hummel, they worked as an Account Manager at COPYTEC from February 2006 to January 2007.
Henrik Svenning has a strong educational background in business and project management. In 2005, they attended The Danish Business Academy and completed a degree in Business Economics. Henrik then went on to pursue further education and in 2012, they enrolled at IBA and obtained a Diploma in Business Studies, specializing in business administration.

Furthermore, Henrik obtained an additional certification in Project Management from Mentorix ApS in May 2014. This certification is specifically in PRINCE2, further emphasizing their expertise in project management.
