Rachel Atkins

Born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Rachel moved to Asheville in 2015 after being drawn to the community. She stayed for school (and for the food), and got a Bachelor’s of Arts degree at UNCAsheville, majoring in New Media with a focus in animation. Her interests have always been in the arts and utilizing them in a way that can be therapeutic for others. Some of her passions are stop motion and 2D animation, photography, digital art, and the food and restaurant scene in Asheville. She loves both her dog and cat very much and likes to spend lazy days with them at home snuggled up on the couch. On warmer days, she enjoys roller skating in the park.
