Stella C.

Stella C. has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as a Science Center Assistant at the Brown Science Center in 2011. Stella then went on to serve as a Student Coordinator for the Sidney Frank Scholars Association in the same year. In 2013, Stella was a Summer Associate at Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors. From 2015 to 2017, they held the roles of Development Assistant at Mattress Factory, Program Assistant at Nontraditional Employment for Women, and Software Engineer at Niche.com. During this time, they created UI features and API endpoints using React, Redux, Git, Jest, Node, Express for a web app visited by millions of users, and lead the development of a React Native mobile app. In 2017, Stella attended the Grace Hopper Program, a four month immersive software engineering program with a focus on web development. Finally, from 2019 to 2022, Stella was a Senior Product Engineer and Product Engineer at Ikos, and is currently a Senior Frontend Engineer at Hummingbird.

Stella C. attended Brown University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biology, General. In 2016, they received a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp. Prior to this, they attended Hunter College High School and SIT Study Abroad: Australia: Rainforest, Reef and Cultural Ecology.
