Charise Flynn is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and operational roles across various industries. As the COO and cofounder of Hummingbirds since November 2022, Charise connects brands to local creators through a self-service platform. In addition, Charise serves as a board member for FarrPro, which focuses on enhancing animal agriculture. Previous roles include facilitator and advisor at Drake University, where Charise contributed to the Supervisory Leadership Program, and Entrepreneur In Residence at the Iowa AgTech Accelerator. Charise also held a significant position as COO at Dwolla, where the company was scaled from 2 to over 80 employees and successfully raised more than $32 million in venture capital. Holding dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Philosophy and Religion from Simpson College, Charise's expertise encompasses strategic development, operations management, and entrepreneurship.
