Nita Overton Smith

Nita Overton Smith has worked in a variety of roles in the defense and aerospace industries since 1998. Her career began at Sabre Corporation, where they worked as a Program Management Office (PMO) Lead from 1998 to 2000. Nita then moved to Marconi Communications, where they served as a Program Manager from 2000 to 1998. In 2002, they joined Bell Helicopter as an Integrated Program Scheduler & Cost Senior Specialist, and was later promoted to Integrated Program Scheduling Supervisor and Performance Manager, Commercial Ships EVMS. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Program Performance Manager (EVMS/Cost/Scheduling) for Texas & California at General Dynamics Mission Systems. Most recently, they began working as a Consultant Manager at Humphreys & Associates, Inc. in 2021.

Nita Overton Smith has a BBA from Abilene Christian University in Business and is currently working towards an MBA from Amberton University. Nita also attended Southwest High School.
