휴니드테크놀러지스는 1968년 대영전자공업(주)로 출범, 대용량 전송장비, 광중계기, 차량용 휴대전화단말기, ADSL 장비등을 설계 제작하여 한국의 무선통신시장 발전에 선도적인 역할을 하였습니다. 특히 지난 40년간 HF/VHF/UHF무전기등 군 전술통신망의 핵심장비들을 공급해오면서 우리 군의 신경계를 책임지고 있습니다. 
휴니드테크놀러지스는 2006년 9월 세계최대의 항공우주기업 미 보잉 사로부터 투자를 유치했습니다. 이로써 보잉은 휴니드테크놀러지스의 2대 주주가 되었으며 양사는 기술인력 연수, 업무교환 프로그램, 공동 마케팅을 통해 장기적인 파트너십을 추진해 나갈 예정입니다.
