Will McCabe has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. Will began as a Transportation Fellow at the David E. Shi Center for Sustainability, where they led tours, organized events, contributed posts to the online Furman Green Scene blog, and used a systems-thinking approach to research, plan, budget, and implement an on-campus bike rental program. In 2014, they took on a Global Ambassador role with International Studies Abroad (ISA), where they worked with Furman's Study Away Office and ISA representatives to promote study abroad by organizing fairs, interactive presentations, and advising sessions for Furman students and local high schools. That same year, they also began working as a Server at Bell Tower Catering, where they worked with a team to set up for events, serve guests, and clean up after events in a timely and efficient manner. In 2015, they took on an Americorps Vista role with the Maryland Farmers Market Association, as well as a Board Administrator Intern role with Keep Greenville County Beautiful, where they worked in conjunction with the Greenville County Planning Department to engage citizens in litter reduction and beautification through public awareness, education, and special events. Finally, in 2016, they became the Subsidized Produce Distribution Manager with Hungry Harvest.
Will McCabe completed their Sustainability Science degree from Furman University in 2015 and attended James Cook University prior to that.
