Ellen Huffman

Ellen Huffman has a diverse work history, starting with their role as a corps member at City Year in 2011. Ellen went on to become a kindergarten teacher at San Leandro Unified School District in 2014, but left their position to start a small business teaching swing dancing lessons and organizing larger weekend workshops under Ellen Huffman Arts in 2015. During this time, they also performed as a professional entertainer at various events. In 2018, Ellen joined Eventbrite as a software engineer until 2020 when they became a senior software engineer at Landed where they stayed until mid-2023. Ellen's most recent position is Senior Fullstack Software Engineer at Hungryroot, where they have been working since June 2023.

Ellen Huffman attended Case Western Reserve University from 2007 to 2011 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition. Ellen then pursued a Teaching Credential in Elementary Education and Teaching at California State University - East Bay from 2013 to 2014. In 2017, they obtained a Data Analysis certification from General Assembly through their Nanodegree program. In 2018, they completed a fellowship in Computer Software Engineering at Hackbright Academy and also obtained a Certified ScrumMaster certification from cPrime, Inc.
