Jeffrey Weiss has a diverse work experience in the field of tax credit syndication and asset management. Jeffrey started their career in 1994 as a Financial Development Officer at the City of Los Angeles Housing Department, where they were responsible for coordinating tax exempt bond issues and performing feasibility analyses. In 1997, they joined Simpson Housing Solutions as a Senior Vice President, overseeing tax credit syndication and asset management activities. Jeffrey then joined Alliant Asset Management Company in 2006 as a Senior Vice President, managing private label fund executions and participating in partnership negotiations. Since 2010, Jeffrey has been serving as the President of Hunt Capital Partners, specializing in tax credit investments. Throughout their career, they have raised significant funds and managed large portfolios in the low-income housing and solar tax credit sectors.
Jeffrey Weiss completed their Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Real Estate Finance from San Diego State University, where they studied from 1987 to 1992. Following that, they pursued a JD (Juris Doctor) degree at Southwestern Law School from 1992 to 1995. Later, they attended USC Dollinger Master of Real Estate Development program, obtaining their MRED (Master of Real Estate Development) degree from 1994 to 1996, specializing in Real Estate Development.
