Zachary Goff

Reservoir Engineer at Hunt Oil

Zachary Goff has gained significant work experience in the oil and gas industry. Zachary began their career as a Summer Hire at Hilcorp in 2016, where they assisted production foremen and field operators in daily operations and received training on increasing production on low-pressure natural gas wells.

In 2017, Zachary worked as a Corporate Reservoir Engineering Intern at Hunt Oil Company. During this role, they evaluated the effectiveness of reservoir simulators in simulating discrete fracture networks in unconventional reservoirs. Zachary also assisted in the evaluation of potential acquisitions, analyzing data and utilizing tools such as Spotfire.

From 2018 to 2020, Zachary worked as a Production Engineer at Hunt Oil Company. In this position, they had multiple roles within the Burnett Ranch CO2 project. Zachary managed CO2 injection wells, monitored injection pressures and rate, and coordinated equipment for downhole isolation equipment reconfiguration. Zachary also performed remediation operations on a critical injector within the CO2 flood.

In 2021, Zachary joined Detring Energy Advisors as a Reservoir Engineering Analyst. Zachary held this role until 2022, gaining experience in reservoir engineering analysis.

Zachary Goff pursued their education at Southern Methodist University from 2020 to 2021, during which they obtained a Master of Science - MS degree in Finance, with a focus on General Finance. Prior to that, they attended Texas A&M University from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering.
