Leon Hutto

Hutto, Leon has over 40 years of work experience in various roles within the IT and healthcare sectors. Hutto,'smost recent position is Director of Information Systems at Hunt Regional Healthcare, starting in 2022.

Prior to this, they worked at ViaPath Technologies as a Director, Network Services. In this role, they were responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining networks for prisons and jails across North America. Hutto, also led a team of 50+ engineers and system administrators and managed an annual operating budget of $7.5 million. Hutto,'sresponsibilities included new site implementations, network remediation, and incident management.

Before ViaPath Technologies, Hutto worked at JCPenney as a Senior Manager, overseeing IT infrastructure for retail stores and logistics centers. Hutto, led the Enterprise Storage group and managed the infrastructure Project Management Office.

Hutto, also held the position of Manager, Network & Telecom at Methodist Health System, where they directed the network and telecom teams supporting hospital campuses, call center groups, remote clinics, and the implementation of network infrastructure for a newly constructed hospital.

Earlier in their career, Hutto was a Manager, Information Systems at JPS Health Network, leading a team of engineers and technicians in providing support for various IT systems. Hutto, also worked at Affiliated Computer Services as Manager of Operations / Service Delivery Manager, where they led the service delivery team and implemented ITIL processes. Hutto, later became a Senior Manager, Network Services at the same company, designing network solutions for new business opportunities.

Hutto's extensive work experience also includes serving in the US Army as a Lieutenant Colonel, holding various leadership positions and staff positions at different levels.

Overall, Hutto, Leon has a breadth of experience in managing IT infrastructure, network services, and leading teams in both corporate and healthcare environments.

Hutto, Leon has a diverse education history. In 1978, they began their studies at Texas A&M University, majoring in Agricultural Engineering Technology & Animal Science. Hutto, completed their Bachelor of Science degree in this field in 1982.

After several years, Hutto pursued further education and attended the US Army Command and General Staff College in 2000. Hutto, joined the graduate program and successfully completed their studies in Combined Arms Military Operations in 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Hutto also obtained a certification in the FEMA Incident Command System in January 2002, from FEMA.
