Julie Summerford Pearson has a wide range of work experience in various roles and industries. Julie started their career in 1991 as a Technical Sales professional at Visual Numerics. Julie then worked as a Quality Control Manager at Biles and Associates from 1994 to 1997. Julie then moved on to NetIQ, where they served as a Quality Assurance Manager for the EEM product line from 1997 to 1999. Following this, they joined T. Rowe Price as an Equity Fixed Income IT Liaison and Quality Control Director from 1999 to 2003.

Julie then worked as a Faculty member in the School of Business at Stevenson University from 2001 to 2003. Julie then held the position of Business Development Director at Stanton Street from 2005 to 2008. In 2007, Julie started working at Hunt Companies as an Analytics Consultant and was responsible for Technical Project Management and SDLC.

Julie then joined Friedrich Software Resources, LLC as a Web Analytics Consultant specializing in Google Analytics and Online Media Direction from 2008 to 2010. After this, they worked as a New Media Strategist at CultureSpan Marketing (formerly Laster Group) from 2009 to 2012.

Since 2013, Julie has been in a leadership role at Hunt Companies as Vice President of Enterprise Applications and Strategic Business Solutions. In this role, they manage the company's enterprise applications and portfolio of systems technology projects, including InfoSec responsibilities. Julie has successfully migrated the majority of the company's systems to SAAS-based, AWS hosted, and managed hosting solutions.

Julie Summerford Pearson completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics at Texas Tech University from 1987 to 1991. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Management of Information Systems at the University of St. Thomas (TX) from 1994 to 1996.
