Paola Mendoza

Paola Mendoza started their work experience as an Audit Trainee at BDO in September 2004 and worked until February 2005. From February 2005 to January 2009, they worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, initially as a Tax Trainee and later as an Audit Senior. At PricewaterhouseCoopers, they were responsible for financial audits, evaluation of internal control, and supervision of the team. Paola joined KPMG in January 2009 as an Audit Supervisor and worked there until July 2018. In this role, they directed audits, evaluated internal controls, and coordinated meetings with management. From August to December 2018, Paola worked as a Corporate Internal Auditor at Grupo Centenario, where they successfully implemented automation and data analytics in the auditing process. Since February 2019, they have been working as an Internal Auditor at Hunter Lojack Peru.

Paola Mendoza's education history includes multiple degrees and certifications. In 2001, they attended Universidad de Lima where they obtained a degree in Contabilidad y finanzas (Accounting and Finance) in 2005. In 2011, they completed a Diplomado (Diploma) in Normas internacionales de informacion financiera (International Financial Reporting Standards) at Universidad del Pacífico (PE). In 2014-2016, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at both Esade and Universidad del Pacífico (PE), specializing in Business Administration and Management. In 2017, Paola attended Universidad de Lima to study Control interno y gestion del riesgo (Internal Control and Risk Management) and Universidad de Piura for a Diplomatura (Diploma) in Finance, General. Additionally, in 2016, they obtained the ISO 31000, Risk Manager certification from PECB.
