Tim Smith

Tim Smith is the current Head of Finance at Hunter Medical Research Institute (HMRI). Prior to HMRI, Tim held various finance positions at companies including the British Red Cross, BSkyB, Liberty Global, First Group, Schroders, Shell, and Look Ahead Care and Support. Tim began their career in 2003 as a Financial Analyst at First Data, Asia Pacific before moving to Loyalty Management UK in 2005 where they served as a Management Accountant. In 2006, Tim became a Financial Analyst at Liberty Global followed by a role as Management Accountant at First Group in 2006. From 2007 to 2011, Tim worked as a Financial Analyst at BSkyB before taking on the role of Lead Business Finance Analyst at the British Red Cross from 2011 to 2014. In 2014, Tim became the Finance Manager at Look Ahead Care and Support before taking on their current role as Head of Finance at HMRI in 2015.
