Duncan Rayward

Duncan Rayward has over two decades of experience in water and wastewater management, currently serving as Business Lead for Belmont Desalination at Hunter Water since January 2009. In this role, Duncan oversees the installation of a new works management system, focusing on digital planning and scheduling. Previous positions at Hunter Water include Group Manager Field Services Model, Manager of Maintenance Services, and Manager of Civil Maintenance, where Duncan implemented productivity improvements and managed both preventative and reactive maintenance teams. Earlier career roles include Project Officer Water at the Lord Howe Island Board, Manager Water and Waste at Upper Hunter Shire Council, and Environmental Engineer at Scone Shire Council. Duncan Rayward holds a degree from the University of Newcastle.
