Robert Hastings has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Robert is currently working as a Special Education Teacher at Hunterdon Central Regional High School since November 2021. In addition, they are the Founder of Hastings Educational Services, LLC since October 2021, where they provide educational services through their website.

Previously, Robert worked as a First and Second Grade Special Education Teacher at Montclair Board of Education from September 2013 to November 2021. Additionally, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in English from Montclair State University in 2007 and an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Bergen Community College in 2005.

In terms of certifications, they have obtained several from various institutions. Robert is certified as a Principal, Teaching, a School Administrator, and a Supervisor from Montclair State University, all in August 2019. Robert also holds certifications as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities and a Teacher of Elementary Education Grades K-6 from Seton Hall University, completed in August 2015 and June 2013, respectively. Furthermore, they are certified as a Teacher of English Grades K-12 from Seton Hall University, which they obtained in June 2013.
