Dena Martini Toms has a diverse work experience spanning over almost two decades. Dena started their career in 2004 as an Account Coordinator at Freeman Public Relations. In 2005, they joined Bratskier&Co. as an Account Executive and later became an Assistant Account Executive/Account Executive at Bratskeir & Company from 2005 to 2007. Dena then moved on to MSLGROUP, where they served as a Vice President from 2007 to 2014. Currently, they are working at Hunter, where they have held multiple roles, including Senior Vice President from 2014 to 2020, Senior Vice President of Talent & Operations from 2020 to 2023, and currently as the Chief People Officer.

Dena Martini Toms earned their Bachelor's degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University from 2000 to 2004.
