Lourdes Angell has extensive experience in healthcare informatics, with roles at various healthcare organizations. Lourdes started their career in 2000 at Daniel Freeman Marina Hospital / Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital, where they implemented and supported Star McKesson and Axolotl clinical applications upgrades. Lourdes managed system issues and upgrades communications, conducted physician trainings, and worked with HL7 Interfaces and FTP connections. In 2007, Lourdes joined Prime Healthcare Services as a Physician Liaison/Clinical Analyst, where they implemented and supported Meditech integrated clinical and financial systems. Lourdes provided physician training and support, managed system upgrades and communications, and resolved clinical systems issues. Lourdes then moved to Providence Health & Services in 2011 as a Senior Physician Liaison / Clinical Informatics Specialist, where they were part of a team responsible for planning, training, and providing support to physicians on Meditech, EPIC, and Dragon systems. Lourdes also managed the transition of several ministries from Meditech to EPIC systems. Currently, Lourdes is working at Huntington Health as a Physician Application Support Lead, overseeing the support and implementation of physician applications.

Lourdes Angell obtained an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Cerritos College, attending from 1983 to 1986. In addition, they obtained certifications in EPIC Credentialed MD Trainer from Providence Health & Services in 2013 and Project Management from Villanova University Association of Entrepreneurial Execs. in 2008.
