Smadar Rubinsky

Smadar Rubinsky has a diverse work experience with a focus on mental health and eating disorder programs. Smadar worked as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor for Maternal Mental Health at Keck Medicine of USC IS Internship & Residency Program starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were a Lead Therapist for Maternal Mental Health at Huntington Health since 2017. Smadar also served as the Californian Regional Director at Center For Discovery from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, they worked as a Program Director at Solid Landings Behavioral Health from 2014 to 2016, where they provided clinical and administrative leadership to a treatment team and directed program development for the eating disorder track. Smadar was a Program Therapist at Reasons Eating Disorder Center @ BHC Alhambra from 2013 to 2014, where they managed a residential eating disorder program and provided individual and group psychotherapy. Smadar worked as a Primary Therapist at Monte Nido & Affiliates from 2012 to 2013, providing psychotherapy and managing a residential eating disorder program. Prior to that, they were a Primary Therapist at The Renfrew Center from 2011 to 2012. Smadar began their career as a Logistics Analyst at DOLCE&GABBANA S.r.l from 2009 to 2010.

Smadar Rubinsky earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley from 2000 to 2004. From 2005 to 2006, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Medical Anthropology from UCL. In 2010, they attended New York University to obtain a Master's Degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work, completing it in 2011.
