Amy Resnick is an accomplished actor and director with extensive experience in the theater industry. Currently, Resnick is an actor at The Huntington and TheatreWorks since August 2023 and August 2018, respectively. Resnick has also taken on directing roles at American Stage Theatre Company, Alter Theater, Capital Stage Company, and Hammer Theatre Center, with notable productions including "Bad Jews" and "Seminar." A versatile performer, Resnick's acting credits include significant roles in "Luna Gale," "August: Osage County," and "SWEAT," with film appearances in Sony Classics' "Haiku Tunnel." Resnick's work has earned recognition, including nominations for the Bay Area Critics Award for Best Female Lead Performance. Resnick holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from UCLA, where studies were completed from 1979 to 1982.
