Huntington Theatre Company
Carmen Catherine Alfaro is an experienced event electrician and stage manager currently working at Port Lighting Systems since September 2024. With a strong background in theatrical production, Carmen has held positions at the American Repertory Theater as an electrician and assistant stage manager for PearlDamour's "Ocean Filibuster," as well as serving as an electrician for High Output, Inc., Huntington Theatre Company, and The Lyric Stage Company of Boston. In a mentoring role at Brighter Boston, Carmen focuses on guiding young individuals in production, specifically in electrics and stage management. Recent leadership roles include production stage manager at Central City Opera for "Pirates of Penzance" and "Street Scene," calling stage manager for the San Diego Opera's "Madama Butterfly," and facilitating workshops in stage management. Carmen holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Stage Management and Lighting Design from Boston University.
