Elektra T. Newman is a highly experienced theatre professional with a focus on props, technical operations, and production coordination. Currently serving as a Props Artisan at American Repertory Theater and Assistant Theatre Operations Coordinator at Suffolk University, Elektra also holds the position of Producing Artistic Director at Jumble Jumble Theatre Co. & Mass. Movie Mob. Additional roles include Freelance Scenic Artist, Carpenter, and Lighting Technician at Huntington Theatre Company, Freelance Videographer and Lighting Technician at Ball Square Films, and member of The Gold Dust Orphans. With a Bachelor of Science in Theatre & Arts Administration from Suffolk University and a Certificate in Art School Preparation from Rhode Island School of Design, Elektra has dedicated a significant portion of time to various theatre and film projects, demonstrating a strong commitment to the performing arts.
