Michelle Gusmus

Michelle Gusmus, SPHR, CCP, CSCP, serves as Senior Vice President and Head of HR for Corporate Functions at Huntington National Bank since November 2017, providing strategic counsel for talent management aligned with business objectives for a leadership team of six C-suite executives. Prior to this role, Michelle held positions such as SVP, Director of Broad-Based & Incentive Compensation, and SVP, Director of Incentive Compensation, where responsibilities included overseeing incentive compensation design and governance. Michelle's previous experience includes roles as Human Resources Director and Compensation Consultant at Nationwide, and Compensation Consultant at Cardinal Health, where achievements included establishing a Sales Compensation governance framework. Early career experience as an Associate Merchandise Planner at Tween Brands and Inventory Management Specialist at Abbott Nutrition contributed to a strong foundation in financial planning and inventory management.
