Ruben Alvarez currently serves as a Sr. Executive Relationship Manager in Commercial Real Estate at Huntington National Bank, a position held since October 2025 following the acquisition of Veritex Community Bank, where Ruben worked as Director of Commercial Real Estate from August 2017 to October 2025. Prior to that, Ruben was the Houston Area CEO at Sovereign Bank (Texas) from July 2011 until its acquisition by Veritex in 2017.
