Surya Metta

Surya Metta is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in consulting and software development. Currently, Surya works as a Senior Consultant at the Ohio Department of Commerce, focusing on modernizing liquor licensing applications using Azure. Previous roles include Lead Consultant for both the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation, where Surya customized COTS solutions and addressed implementation challenges, and Pacer International, where key enterprise application improvements were suggested. Surya has also held positions as Web Development Lead at the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation and Senior Consultant at Compuware, leading development efforts for various IT solutions. Earlier professional experience includes programming roles at Nationwide and Cambar Software, as well as work as a programmer analyst at the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore. Surya holds a B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
