Kevin W. Murphy, LEED-AP, CAFS has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Kevin W. began their career in 1983 as an Engine Room Supervisor in the US Navy, where they operated and maintained nuclear power generation, steam propulsion, and auxiliary systems. In this role, they also participated in various missions and patrols during the Cold War era.

After their military service, Kevin joined Hunton Trane in 1994, starting as a Sales Engineer and progressively taking on more responsibilities. Kevin W. later served as an Account Executive, Sales Manager, and finally became the Vice President & General Manager in 2008. In this senior role, they oversaw and coordinated all aspects of sales, marketing, and operations, reporting directly to the President of Hunton Group.

Kevin's tenure at the Hunton Group continued in 2020, when they were appointed as the Vice President of Business Development at Hunton Group. In this role, they are responsible for driving the company's growth through strategic business initiatives.

Kevin W. began their education journey at the Nuclear Power School - Naval Nuclear Power Training Command (NNPTC) from 1983 to 1985, where they focused on Nuclear Engineering. Afterward, from 1989 to 1991, Murphy pursued undergraduate coursework at San Diego Mesa College.

In pursuit of their passion for engineering, Murphy attended The University of Texas at Austin, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Cockrell School of Engineering. This degree was obtained from 1991 to 1994.

To further enhance their credentials, Murphy obtained the LEED Accredited Professional certification from the U.S. Green Building Council in March 2007. This certification reflects their expertise in green building practices and sustainable design principles.
