David Crockett

David Crockett has over 25 years of experience in process safety and engineering, primarily with Huntsman Corporation. Since August 2015, David has held various roles including Global Functional Safety Specialist, EAME Corporate Process Safety Manager, and Corporate Process Safety Engineer, focusing on safety instrumented systems. Prior to this, David worked at Huntsman Polyurethanes from November 2005 to August 2015 as an E&I Engineer and held responsibility for the Instrument & Electrical engineering at a top-tier COMAH plant. David's earlier career at Huntsman Polyurethanes from 1997 to 2005 included roles as Lead Process Engineer and Technology Project Engineer. David holds a BEng (Hons) in Instrumentation Systems from the University of Wales, Newport, along with HNC qualifications in Industrial Measurement & Control and Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Newport College of Higher Education and Bristol Polytechnic, respectively.
