Ebrahim Farmand-Ashtiani

Ebrahim Farmand-Ashtiani is a seasoned professional in materials science and engineering, currently serving as Technology Manager and Team Leader for Simulation & Knowledge Management at Huntsman Corporation since January 2017. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral researcher role at the Laboratory of Applied Mechanics and Reliability Analysis (LMAF-EPFL) from December 2011 to July 2016, focusing on finite element modeling of interlaminar fatigue failure in composites, leading to significant publications and supervision of student projects. Ebrahim also held positions as a Doctoral Assistant and Research Assistant, conducting applied research and mechanical testing, and contributing to various projects centered on composite materials and microstructural characterization.
