Antonio L. McGinnis

Antonio McGinnis has a diverse work experience. Antonio started their career as a Youth Service Coordinator in Huntsville, AL in 2005 and then moved on to become a Head Basketball Coach at Oakwood University from 2009 to 2014. In 2010, they transitioned to become the Executive Director of Harris Home for Children, where they worked for 7 years. Antonio then joined the Boys and Girls Club of North Alabama as the Director of Workforce Development from 2017 to 2019. Currently, they are working at the Huntsville Housing Authority, where they have held multiple roles including Deputy Executive Director and Interim Executive Director, and is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer.

Antonio McGinnis started their education at Texas A&M University in 1991 and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism in 1995. Antonio further pursued their studies at Strayer University from 2010 to 2012 and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Public Administration.
