Dr. Harry Hobbs has a strong and diverse work background, starting with their current position as Vice President at Huntsville Utilities since October 2018. Prior to this role, they served as the Site Director at Florida Institute of Technology Huntsville Site from February 2017 to October 2018. Dr. Harry Hobbs, DBA, PhD, SHRM-SCP, completed their Doctorate of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management, General from the Florida Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained their Master's degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Murray State University from 1996 to 1997.

In addition to their academic degrees, Dr. Hobbs has also pursued professional certifications. Dr. Harry obtained a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University in December 2022. Furthermore, they obtained the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in July 2019.
