Lucas Moorefield's work experience includes various roles in different companies. Lucas started in 2002 as a Manager at Hibbett Sports and worked there until 2004. In the same year, they also worked as a Sales Representative at Dillard's Inc. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as a Survey Technician at Smith Engineering Inc. In 2006, they joined Huntsville Utilities as a Supervisor in Water Operations and is still currently working there. In 2023, they will start a new role as the Director of Park Recreation at the Town of Grant.
Lucas Moorefield started their education in 2002 at The University of Alabama in Huntsville, where they pursued a degree in Civil Engineering. Lucas attended the university until 2004. The following year, from 2004 to 2005, Lucas attended Calhoun Community College to further their studies in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services, although they did not obtain a degree from this institution.
In 2005, Lucas transferred to Athens State University and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services between 2005 and 2007. After this, they attended the Florida Institute of Technology in 2008 and 2009, focusing on the same field of study but without obtaining a degree.
In addition to their formal education, Lucas has obtained certifications in the water industry. Lucas has achieved the Water Distribution System Operator Grade I certification from ADEM (Alabama Department of Environmental Management) and the Water Treatment Plant Operator Grade IV certification, also from ADEM. The specific months and years of when they obtained these certifications are not provided.
