Michael L.

Michael L. has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Michael worked as a Network Integration Manager at Huntsville Utilities starting in 2020. Prior to that, they served as a Senior NSA at LVMPD.COM from 2005 to 2017, where they managed the Server Operations Group and allocated resources for production-based systems. Michael also worked as an American Welding Society Certified Welding Inspector at Protech Inspections, Inc. from 2004 to 2016, providing contract welding inspection for various projects. Additionally, they provided IT management and consulting services at NTSI, Inc. and Advetar, Inc. from 1996 to 2005, leading design teams and managing support and training personnel. Earlier in their career, Michael worked as a Computer Systems Support specialist at the College of Southern Nevada in 1995 and as an IT Manager at the US Environmental Protection Agency in 1994. Michael started their career as a Systems Support Specialist at the College of Southern Nevada in 1990, providing technical support and expanding the computer lab network.

Michael L. completed their Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Science from the College of Southern Nevada from 1990 to 1994. Michael then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science at UNLV from 1990 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Michael L. obtained certifications from Cisco. Michael became a Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) in January 2017, and a Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching in March 2017.
