Vanessa A.

Vanessa A. has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Vanessa started their career as a Title XX Secretary at the Huntsville-Madison County Senior Center from 1982 to 1985. Vanessa then became a Secretary at Huntsville Utilities from 1985 to 2007, providing administrative support to upper-level management. In 2007, Vanessa took on the role of Executive Assistant to the Vice President/CFO at Huntsville Utilities, representing the company in various civic organizations. Vanessa held this position until April 2020 when they transitioned to the role of Executive Assistant to the President/CEO and Notary Public at the same company. Additionally, Vanessa worked as a Sales Associate at Belk (formerly Parisians) from 1995 to 1996, where they gained experience in customer service and financial transactions.

Vanessa A. completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management at Oakwood University from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Office Administration from Faulkner University between 1982 and 1985. Vanessa also attended JO Johnson High School, although the dates of their attendance and the degree or field of study they pursued are unknown. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications in the Executive Women International Academy of Leadership Graduate in 2011 and American Red Cross Certified CPR & 1st Aid Instructor in 2007.
