Kayla Brown has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Kayla is currently working as a Social Media/Communications Specialist at the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber since June 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter at WZDX from April 2018 to June 2021. Before joining WZDX, Kayla worked as a Multimedia Journalist/Photographer at Local15 | WPMI-TV, where they started as a Photographer and eventually started publishing their own stories. Kayla was also called upon to be a Multimedia Journalist when needed. Kayla worked at Local15 | WPMI-TV from October 2016 to March 2018. Earlier in their career, Kayla gained experience as a Sports Intern at Eyewitness News WEHT/WTVW from May 2014 to August 2014.
Kayla Brown attended the University of South Alabama from 2012 to 2016 and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Broadcast Journalism.
