Alexandra Sjöman

Alexandra Sjöman has a diverse work experience in various sales and customer service roles. Alexandra started their career as a Receptionist at Park Hotel Turku in 2010 and continued in that role until 2012. From 2013 to 2018, Alexandra worked as a Receptionist at Park Hotel Turku again. In 2018, they joined HUONE Meeting and Event Venues as an Event Host & Front Desk Receptionist and later transitioned to a role as a Sales & Event Coordinator in 2019. In 2020, Alexandra became a Sales Coordinator at Tulkkikeskus Ästerä Oy, where they stayed until 2022. Alexandra then worked as a Customer Experience and Sales Coordinator at VALO Hotel & Work from May 2022 to September 2022. Currently, Alexandra is working as a Sales Ambassador at HUONE Meeting and Event Venues.

Alexandra Sjöman has a diverse educational background. In 2006, they started their education journey at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, pursuing a Bachelor of Hospitality Management in the Degree Programme in Tourism. Alexandra completed this degree in 2009.

In 2008, as part of their educational experience, Alexandra attended the Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki (ATEITH) for a brief period, although no specific degree was mentioned.

Following their Bachelor's degree, Alexandra decided to further enhance their knowledge and skills in the field of Hospitality Management. From 2016 to 2019, they pursued a Master's degree in Hospitality Management at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences.

Recently, in 2021, Alexandra showed an interest in Digital Marketing and Adobe Photoshop by enrolling in the Open University of Applied Sciences program at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences. It is worth mentioning that this was only a short-term program.

In addition to their formal education, Alexandra also obtained several certifications to complement their skills. In 2006, they acquired the Alcohol passport from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences. In 2007, they obtained the Hygiene Proficiency Certificate from Elintarviketurvallisuusvirasto Evira, and in the same year, they completed a First Aid Course 1 from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences. Finally, in 2011, Alexandra obtained the Workplace instructor certification from Elinkeino-, liikenne- ja ympäristökeskus.
