Joe Bates

Joe Bates has worked in a variety of roles over the past twenty-four years. In 1997, they began their career at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama, where they held the roles of Sales & Marketing Information Specialist, Provider Payroll Specialist, and Claims Processor. In 2010, they joined UnitedHealth Group as a Medicare Sales Account Executive and Direct Sales (Employee Benefits) Account Executive. In 2015, they moved to Mercer as a Senior Consulting Analyst, Global Mercer Marketplace 365. In 2018, they became a Business Development Manager at Waitr. In 2021, they joined Cerebral as a Partner Growth & Strategy. Joe is currently a Business Development Leader at Hurdle.

Joe Bates obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, as well as a Minor in Marketing from the same institution. Joe also holds a certification in Hubspot Sales Software from HubSpot, obtained in October 2018.
