Summer Jenkins has extensive experience in the field of human resources and benefits administration. summer began their career at BELFOR Property Restoration in 2001, where they served as the National Benefit Coordinator and Human Resource Professional for ten years.

In 2011, Summer joined Hurley Medical Center as the Benefits and Compensation Manager, responsible for analyzing and supporting benefit and compensation programs. summer also managed the daily administration of employee group benefits and compensation packages.

In 2019, Summer transitioned to the role of Benefits, Compensation and Recruitment Manager at Hurley Medical Center. In this position, they widened their scope to include talent acquisition and recruitment strategies, as well as quality assessment and improvement activities.

Recently, Summer Jenkins has obtained a new position at Hurley Medical Center as the Vice President of Human Resources. summer assumed this role in May 2021 and continues to contribute their expertise in benefit and compensation programs.

Summer Jenkins is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Human Resources Management and Services at Amberton University, which is expected to be completed in 2021. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration from Baker College of Flint in 2006.
