Shannon Loso

Shannon Loso has a diverse work experience in various roles. From 2014 to present, they have been the Director of Community Education and Recreation at Huron Valley Schools, where they oversee a department of over 300 employees and manages a budget of over $2M. Shannon has also initiated a reorganization within the Pools and Fitness organization, leading to cost savings and improved efficiencies. Prior to this, from 2011 to 2014, Shannon was a Recreation Supervisor at Rockwood Community Education, where they managed and directed youth and adult sports programs and expanded recreational offerings. From 2005 to 2011, they served as the Education and Development Manager at Gateway Region Volleyball Assoc, where they trained and managed hundreds of coaches and handled human resources and accounting activities. Additionally, Shannon also gained experience as an Owner/Operator at Daily Perc, managing three coffee shop locations and handling various aspects of running a business.

From 1991 to 1995, Shannon Loso attended Michigan State University. Shannon obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a focus on Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management.
