Vincent Velasquez has had a long and varied career in the media and events industry. Vincent began their career in 2003 as Co-Founder of Hurricane Productions, a business that produces over 100 live events per year and employs nearly three dozen people. In 2013, they co-founded MediaCutlet, a consulting firm that assists other businesses in the digital space. In 2016, they became a Consultant for the New Brunswick Development Corporation, helping to produce events and offer creative marketing strategies. In 2017, they joined BridgeTower Media as Vice President of Events, leading a division overseeing the strategy for over 200 live events. Vincent also served as an Event Marketing Consultant, helping the company move quickly into digital-first opportunities. Finally, from 2006 to 2013, they worked at The Star-Ledger as a Videographer, Reporter, and Online Designer, bridging the gap between the newspaper and online reporter.
Vincent Velasquez obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Rutgers University in 2009, having studied both Journalism and American Studies.
