Bram Olof van Spriel

Bram Olof van Spriel has a diverse work experience. Bram Olof started their career in 2006 at a cafe and kunstlaberatorium, where they worked as a Kasserer, Servitør, Ateljevakt, and Vaktmester until 2007. Bram Olof then joined BAMA Gruppen AS as a Lagerarbeider from 2007 to 2008. In 2008, they worked as a Vikar på Bråsett bo og omsorgsenter at Røyken kommune until 2015.

Since 2012, Bram has been associated with the Hurtigruten Group, where they have held various roles. Bram Olof began as a Kadett from 2012 to 2014, followed by a position as a Matros from 2014 to 2015. Bram Olof then worked as a Styrmann from 2015 to 2022 and as a Sikkerhetsoffiser from 2018 to 2022. Currently, they hold the role of Chief Officer, which they started in January 2022.

Additionally, Bram joined Hurtigruten expedition as a Chief Officer in December 2021.

Bram Olof van Spriel studied maritime education at Universitetet i Sørøst-Norge – campus Vestfold. Later, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Ship Navigation from the University of South-Eastern Norway, specializing in Maritime Transport.
